- SECURE PAIRING: Connecting to the Mando is very easy, you simply press and hold the power button for four seconds which initiates Bluetooth pairing mode allowing you to connect on your smart device. This is both easy to do and also prevents neighbours from connecting to your speaker system.
- VOLUME LIMITER: If you’re planning to install the Mando into a kids bedroom or in hospitality such as an hotel room or similar then you’ll be pleased to know that you can easily adjust the amplifiers output volume to reduce the chance of annoying the neighbours.
- STEREO / MONO SWITCH: A switch on the rear of the unit allows you to switch between stereo and mono playback mode. Most of the time you’ll be using stereo, however if you want to put one speaker in the bedroom and one speaker in the en-suite then you can set it to mono mode to achieve this.
EASY TO INSTALL
The Mando BT ceiling speaker system is surprisingly simple to install.
It sits in a standard UK back box (47mm deep) and can be fitted to either a flush mount box or a plasterboard box.
Powered from an in-line 15V transformer, much the same as a 12V downlight then connected to the ceiling speakers with the included 2 core speaker cable.
Once installed it is the same size and similar profile to a standard UK light switch meaning it’s easy and discreet to fit into any room.
The Mando BT can be used to power ceiling speakers in the bathroom, but the amplifier should be mounted outside of the room.
