Michael Graves’ kettle is recognised all over the world as an icon of contemporary design, thanks to its mix of pop and postmodern styles. To mark the kettle’s 30th anniversary, Graves has redesigned the whistle, transforming the little bird into a fascinating mythological and futuristic creature: something in between a dragon and a flying dinosaur. Symbolising strength and fortune in Chinese culture, the dragon was chosen as a good luck charm for the kitchen.

Kettle in 18/10 stainless steel and thermoplastic resin, black. Prehistoric reptilian whistle, copper metallic finish. Magnetic steel bottom suitable for induction cooking.
