Overview

GES is an all-tube electrostatic headphone amplifier designed to drive any STAX headphones. GES can accommodate a wide range of vacuum tubes which makes it an excellent choice for those who love to experiment with different tubes sound.

  • Tubes: 6S4 power x 4, 12AX7 driver x 4

  • Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tube sockets

  • Push-Pull direct drive, Class-A

  • High-performance Solen and WIMA capacitors, Point-to-Point wiring

  • RCA input x 2

  • STAX Pro Bias 5-pin EarSpeakers output

  • ALPS potentiometer and power switch

  • Anodized aluminum chassis, available in black or silver

  • Self-biasing with compatible tubes 

  • Global voltage (100v–240v) without converter

  • Dimensions: 5½”(H), 13″(W), 10½”(D), 22.5 lbs.
