Achieving high-end sound quality is not only about adding in more drivers, for ME700 we needed to give it much more. Hybrid design, unique dynamic driver with gold-plating, custom balanced armature drivers, advanced crossover and driver positioning, even design and material of nozzle, all coming together into our most complex and best sounding earphones.
Unique Gold-Plated Dynamic Driver
Pure 24K gold plating greatly improves damping characteristics of the dynamic driver’s diaphragm, leading to further absorption of unwanted vibrations, resulting in cleaner and tighter bass response. At the same time, the softer and warmer acoustic properties of gold keep the sound lush and natural.
Four Balanced Armature Drivers Customized For Shanling
While sound of ME700 rely heavily on its dynamic driver, it would be nothing without additional array of four balanced armature drivers. Two bigger drivers for midrange and lower treble, with two combined drivers for the highest frequencies, all customized for even higher performance focused on top grade clarity and detail.
Triple-Bore Design For Ideal Coherency
To make sure all five drivers are properly integrated and produce one coherent sound, ME700 utilizes triple bore design. According to their frequency range, drivers are firstly split from each other and then positioned in set distances from nozzle, making sure that different frequencies arrives to listener at the correct time and without mixing with each other. Resulting in beautiful and natural sound.
Exclusive welding process
Adding just the right amount of silver and gold into the mix, Shanling’s engineers managed to improve welding process for better signal transmission, pushing the sound quality of ME700 even further.
High-End product With High-End standards
During production of ME700, all parts and all assembly steps undergo strict multistage testing process. Then, each pair of earphones get measured multiple times, to assure the sound quality exactly matches our highest standards. We are especially proud of the channel matching on ME700, achieving two times better values than earphone industry standard.
SLA 3D printing technology
3D printing technology, with all its vast potential, allows us to push the design of our earphones closer and closer to the ideal fit. Thanks to a database with few thousands scans of human ears and our extensive testing, we are able to create universal design fitting even higher number of users, while providing very secure and extremely comfortable fit.
ME700 are made from skin-friendly medial grade resin from Germany.
High-Fidelity Pure Silver Cable
With special octa-core Neotech high purity silver cable, ME700 provides full high-end performance right out of the box. Sounding highly detailed, clean and with no coloration, with great extension into the highest frequencies, all thanks to the properties of pure silver cable.
Easily switch among outputs With 2.5/3.5/4.4 mm connectors
To ensure compatibility with all High-End portable audio players, ME700’s cable comes at default with a balanced 2.5 mm jack connector. Included are also two adapters, for a balanced 4.4 mm jack and for a standard single-ended 3.5 mm jack.
Aviation grade materials
Aviation grade stainless steel SUS316F is strong, resistant to corrosion and often used in the medical and aviation industry. Therefore, it fits perfectly into our high standards set for the ME700, being ideal choice of material for all parts of the cable.
Hi-Res Audio certification
With the frequency response reaching all the way up to 40 000 Hz, ME700 were awarded Hi-Res certification by the Japan Audio Society. We recommend to use ME700 earphones with Shanling Hi-Res certified portable music players, to experience the full potential of High-Resolution audio files.
