WIRED OR WIRELESS
As a perfect partner, the PreAmp II provides power amplifiers with multiple sources or simply adds a wireless connection to your active speakers.
This versatile pre-amplifier offers two wired input connections via both digital optical and analog AUX inputs, as well as a Bluetooth wireless option enabling you to stream music from your smartphone, tablet or computer.
IDEAL FOR TURNTABLESÂ
To cater for the revival and growth in vinyl collections, for this new second generation PreAmpster model, Tangent has included an integrated RIAA / Phono module feature, so it’s now possible to use this PreAmp II pre-amplifier with a turntable.
BALANCEÂ XLR
A new addition to the PreAmp II is the possibility to use a balanced connection (XLR) to power amplifier such as Tangent’s PowerAmpster II.Â
HEADPHONESÂ
Tangent PreAmp II also caters for those who wish to bring quality sound to a pair of audiophile headphones via built-in headphone amplifier.
The headphone connection is conveniently placed in the front of the preamplifier.Â
SUBWOOFER OR ACTIVE SPEAKERSÂ
The PreAmp II also offers several output options, including an analogue line-out and a XLR balanced connection for connecting an amplifier, or active speakers.
Additionally, there is a sub-output for connecting a subwoofer to enhance the bass frequencies of your system.
TAKE CONTROL
A comprehensive, fully functional remote control is also included and for added convenience, the PreAmp II can automatically wake up from standby in either the Bluetooth or AUX source used previously… so it’ll turn on as soon as you start playing music from your connected device.
